Village of Dissan has water flowing from the ground!

Day 8

Today around 2pm we were informed that the drilling crew hit water!  It is a really exciting day.  

And just about par for the course for this trip I wasn't there to see this happen.  So I am sad that I missed this - but extremely happy and proud of our club's accomplishment.

This was a team effort from the day we chartered CWCLC!  This proves that when Lions work together they can achieve great things.  The borehole project for the village of Dissan will continue.  Tomorrow the pump will be installed.  

I am headed back to Chicago today, but we are sending our partner club the Sokala Lions members tomorrow to take some pictures to share and to witness this great team achievement.
